Introduction to Stainless Steel Surface Processing Types
1. HL surface
The HL surface is processed by grinding the stainless steel surface into a continuous filamentous surface. The HL surface is also commonly known as the "drawing" surface, or the "filament" surface. HL surface is the most widely used surface. Common HL processing equipment on the market is divided into two types: dry grinding and oil grinding. Dry grinding HL uses a set of sand rollers (2 to 4) to grind the stainless steel surface to form continuous longitudinal lines. This kind of surface processing is cheap and of acceptable quality, which can meet the needs of general users and is widely used in decorative surfaces such as home appliances and handicrafts.
2. NO.4 surface
The surface of NO.4 is ground by an abrasive belt. Its processed surface is intermittent, so it is also called "short wire". At the same time, its surface shows a grain-like effect similar to snowflakes, so it is also called "snowflake". sand".
The common snowflake sand NO.4 surface on the market is also divided into two types: dry grinding and oil grinding. Dry grinding snowflake sand NO.4 is made by vibrating left and right at a certain frequency when grinding the stainless steel surface longitudinally with an abrasive belt. The application of dry grinding NO.4 is narrower than HL and is mainly used on some decorative surfaces.
Oil-milled snowflake sand NO.4 is processed using emulsion on the basis of dry grinding. The surface of oil-ground snowflake sand NO.4 is delicate and shiny, truly reflecting the grain effect of the NO.4 surface. It is a high-end decorative surface that is widely used. It is widely used in various types of home appliance panels, decorative materials, etc.
3. Mirror surface
Stainless steel mirror panels are generally grinded mechanically and chemically, and their surfaces are highly reflective, also known as 8K surfaces. Mirror grinding is generally done by grinding the stainless steel surface using a wool felt grinding head, a grinding fluid of iron oxide or aluminum oxide powder and nitric acid.
8K surface is a widely used decorative surface, mainly used in elevators, building decoration, etc.
4. Embossed
Embossing processing exists as a supplement to rolled pattern plates. The embossing processing equipment on the market is relatively simple. It is generally pressed by a set of embossing rollers. Its processing size and quantity are relatively flexible, so it has a certain market foundation.
Embossed boards are generally used as anti-skid plates and are widely used in vehicle manufacturing, construction and other industries. There are also some surface treatments in other markets, such as titanium, fingerprint-resistant surface coatings, etching, sandblasting, etc., which are generally found in some professional The ultimate surface processing plant.
5.Titanium
Titanium plating is carried out on the basis of HL, NO.4 or mirror surface. The colors can be: gun black, golden yellow, rose gold, green, blue, etc. Used in construction, elevator decoration applications, household appliances, kitchenware, industry, medical equipment, etc.
